The PPP Program launched as part of the Government of Uzbekistan's wider reform initiative has made significant progress over the last three years. With a structured implementation strategy, supported by multilateral partners, the government has developed a multi-billion-dollar PPP portfolio across multiple sectors. The pace of growth has rapidly transformed Uzbekistan to become one of the leading emerging market PPP destinations.

To showcase the government's reform strategy , the first international economic forum in the history of Uzbekistan was held in September 2021. The Uzbek Economic Forum 2021 brought together 1,200 heads of international financial institutions and the private sector from around the world to exchange views on the way forward, discuss opportunities ahead and express their support for government reforms.

The Uzbekistan International PPP roundtable, forms part of a series of follow on events from the Economic Forum, and aims to provide a more detailed insight into the progress made so far in the PPP program in the Republic of Uzbekistan and to present the upcoming PPP investment opportunities across hard and social infrastructure sectors.

The event brings together national and international PPP policy makers, regulators, private investors, financiers, as well as senior decision makers in the Government of Uzbekistan driving the country's future economic growth.
